Position Description
As an Electrician II, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Installing conduit, wire, and cable to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Troubleshooting and repairing lighting systems.
- Install and upgrade lighting systems to include Light Emitting Diode (LED) and LED retrofits.
- Reading blueprints and schematics to wire accordingly.
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- California Certified General Electrician.
- More than two years of commericl or industrial work experience as journeyman electrician.
- Clean driving record.
- Completion of apprenticeship or schooling related to the trade.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
- Must be flexible with schedule and hours.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical code.
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- LED upgrade and retrofit experience.
- Knowledge of various lighting systems and fixture experience.
