- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in the mine and surface infrastructures
- Electronic testing and Inspections
- Installing and maintain conveyor systems, crushers, feeders, screens, power center, etc.
- Other duties as required and other commercial and residential components.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of Apprenticeship Program or Technical Trade School, preferred
- 5 years’ Experience in Electrical Field
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code
- Experience in High Voltage Termination and Splices
- Experience reading Electrical Schematics
- Experience with PLC System, maintenance troubleshooting
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, working at heights/high altitudes and abnormally high ambient temperatures. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Employee must be able to work shift rotation, wear full body harness when applicable, walk on uneven ground and perform repetitive motion
