About the Role:
As a CBRE Electrician, you will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
+ Be responsible for electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
+ Check, repair, and replace functional components, including valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
+ Assure that equipment is being maintained and operating in a safe manner.
+ Review historical maintenance records to build proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
+ Provide efficient and reliable service to customers.
+ Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish work you're doing and solve routine problems.
+ Have a broad knowledge of own job subject area and some knowledge of several job fields within the function.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
+ Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
+ Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
+ Explain sophisticated information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need:
+ High school diploma or equivalent experience with 3-4 years of job-related experience. Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred. Master Electrician license required as dictated by local electrical codes. Valid Driver's license required.
+ Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Understanding of existing procedures and standards to tackle slightly sophisticated problems.
+ Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
+ Strong interpersonal skills with an inquisitive mentality.
+ Sophisticated math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages discounts and commissions.
