Job Type: On-site at customer or Leadec location (100%)
Reports to: Facility Manager
Department: North American Operations
Position Purpose: Electrical Maintenance of industrial and/or manufacturing equipment as outlined within the scope of work. Support customer maintenance work and schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec
* Works safely always
* Maintain applicable personal tool requirements at all time
* Materials, parts and supply ordering as needed following JIT and Lean principles
* Materials, supplies and tool preparation for daily work tasks
* Trouble shooting and/or diagnosis of electrical systems as required
* Preventative maintenance of equipment or machinery as qualified
* Cleanup of work or service area following work activity
* Materials, parts and supply disposal and put-way following work activity
* Communication and documentation of complete and incomplete activity per established Leadec or customer process

* Demonstrate competencies with the following:
* Advanced knowledge and skills with a CMMS Maintenance system.
* Ability to demonstrate sound practices and methodology in the execution with electrical repairs, as well as any other assigned activities.
* Have knowledge of and can demonstrate expert knowledge and capabilities with reliability maintenance practices and methods when executing electrical repairs of equipment, as well as other assigned maintenance activities.
* Demonstrate expert knowledge and expertise with mechanical drawings, electrical schematic, can work from and understanding equipment manuals, specifications, and BOM's (Bill of Materials) Be capable of comprehending both written and oral instructions.
* Ability to communicate and work well with others.
* Be capable of guiding and instructing. Assist and instruct others when required.
Position Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent GED required
* Must have Journeymen card
* Valid driver's license required for certain positions
* Applicable Skill and Knowledge competency level demonstrated through certificate or testing required
* Previous experience with 3 phase electrical systems required
* HVAC experience preffered
Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job:
* Required to talk and/or hear in an office and industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
* Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
* Work is performed in an office and industrial-manufacturing environment with necessary time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
