Electrical Test Engineer - Actalent

Description: The Sr. EE Test Engineer will support the development, test, operation of the hardware test for various satellite avionics and hardware and leading the review. This work will include cross-functional coordination to determine test requirements and capabilities. You will ensure HW testing supports both development work and end-product validation. Skills: Hardware test, Electrical engineering, Oscilloscope, Test procedure Top Skills Details: Hardware test, Electrical engineering, Oscilloscope, Test procedure Additional Skills & Qualifications: + B.S. in Electrical Engineering + 3+ years of work experience in Automotive, Robotics, Power Electronics, Consumer Electronics, or combination + Hands-on testing and debugging programmable electronics hardware using electrical test equipment (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, Phase noise analyzer, etc.) + Experienced with testing Clocks (eye diagram, phase noise, etc.) + Experienced with testing Power supply (DC, AC ripple, transient response, load step) + Experienced to look at failures, and root cause the issue and provide the solution + Experience creating detailed hardware test plans and procedures, driving products through verification and early manufacturing runs + Experience with engineering documentation (electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, requirements documentation, interface control, version control) + Familiarity and experience with several communications protocols (e.g. SPI, I2C, I3C) + Knowledge of engineering best practices & patterns for the full software/hardware development life cycle, including design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and certification + Knowledge of hardware and software tools for test automation (e.g. Python, C/C++ etc.) Experience Level: Intermediate Level About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
