Job Summary: WILLING TO TRAIN
The Electrical Panel Technician is responsible for the assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical control panels. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical schematics and blueprints, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels based on detailed schematics and blueprints.
- Install components such as circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and other electrical devices.
- Test and troubleshoot completed panels to ensure proper functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform quality control checks to identify and rectify any issues or defects.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize panel design and functionality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications: WILLING TO TRAIN
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in electrical technology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical panel assembly or a related field.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Basic understanding of electrical components and their functions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of UL508A standards.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Salary
17 - 25 /hour
