Job Description: Electrical Technician (On-Site – Queens, NY)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Technician with strong troubleshooting expertise to join our team at our Queens, New York location. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in electrical systems and hands-on troubleshooting, especially those with experience in nuclear operations, submarines, or related fields. Candidates with a military background—particularly from the Navy or Marines—are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical equipment to identify and mitigate potential issues before they arise.
• System Upgrades: Assist in the installation and integration of new electrical systems and technology as needed.
• Compliance: Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members and other departments to address technical challenges and optimize system performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Strong hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting and system maintenance. Nuclear operations or experience with submarines is a major plus
• Military Background: Candidates with Navy or Marine Corps training, especially those with submarine or nuclear reactor experience, are highly encouraged to apply.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and tools. Certifications or technical training in electrical systems are a bonus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
