We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Permanent Electrical Technician to join our team. This is a day shift position in the Manufacturing industry where you will be primarily responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems, controls, and PLC programming. This role also involves working with hydraulic systems and ensuring quality control. With your technical expertise and problem-solving skills, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, controls, and PLC programming to ensure optimal operation.
- Work closely with Hydraulic Systems, routinely inspecting, maintaining, and repairing as necessary.
- Develop and implement systems and controls that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular quality control checks, identifying areas of improvement and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions for operational enhancements.
- Document all maintenance and repair work, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in PLC Programming, electrical systems, and controls.
- Solid understanding and experience with hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated experience in quality control, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe and healthy workplace.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be an advantage.
