Our client, a leading manufacturer of generic pharmaceutical products, is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience in a pharmaceutical production environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance services.
• Handle general building repair and maintenance tasks.
• Conduct maintenance and repair of production machinery in an active pharmaceutical production environment.
• Troubleshoot boilers, DI water systems, air compressors, and dust collection systems.
• Provide maintenance support for various departments, including Tableting, Encapsulation, Film Coating, Pellet Coating, Sugar Coating, Printing, Pharmacy, Blending, and Packaging.
• Troubleshoot machinery and systems on an ongoing basis.
• Modify and install new equipment as well as execute engineering upgrades to existing machinery.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting, including power distribution and basic circuits.
• Perform monthly preventive maintenance on equipment following all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to carry out maintenance and service tasks.
• Perform weekly baghouse cleaning and changing.
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Skills Required

• Technical training in electronic systems, pneumatic systems, HVAC, and high-pressure boilers.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Capable of working in environments with dust and loose air particles.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
