Electrical Superintendent - Capitol Valley Electric

Capitol Valley Electric has an immediate opening for a site superintendent throughout the bay area and Sacramento. We are looking for someone with experience in Commercial, Solar, and Multi-Family Construction. This is a full-time position with advancement opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Prefer current CA General Electrician License and verifiable references.
• Minimum (10) year work experience as electrical Foreman or similar position.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate crews on a daily basis.
• Ability to manage and schedule large crews and set and meet daily goals.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and municipalities.
• Participate in preplanning, detailing, and budgeting of projects.
• Understanding of RFIs, change orders, submittals, field directives, billing requests.
• Complete understanding of construction documents including all plans and specifications.
• Basic computer skills including email and reading / writing reports.
• Organizational skills required to track RFIs, packages, addendums, material reqs, etc.
