Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to ensure safety and specifications are met.
• Read blueprints to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
• Estimate and order materials, and evaluate worker requirements.
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule workers’ activities.
• Resolve problems and coordinate activities with other departments and contractors.
• Record personnel, production, and operational data.
• Assign work based on material and worker requirements.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Diagnose and inspect systems using test equipment.
• Advise management on equipment hazards.
• Maintain a current electrician's license.
• Plan and install electrical wiring and fixtures according to job specifications and codes.
• Follow safety rules and report hazards.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Building and Construction: Understanding of electrical work materials, methods, and tools.
• Mathematics: Proficiency in arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
