Responsibilities:
- Work with the electrical engineering team as well as other cross-functional groups within Client Reality Labs.
- Help to build prototypes, primarily by assembling, reworking and troubleshooting PCBs.
- Support engineers in troubleshooting failures to find root causes.
- Navigate PCB layout files and schematics and create detailed rework instructions if necessary.
- Assist with scaled prototype assembly and small pre-production units in varying numbers, as well as electronic component addition/modification/replacement as needed.

Requirements
- 3+ years of related experience in small engineering labs.
- Ability to rework, repair and modify SMT down to 01005 package size using microscopes and camera-based inspection equipment.
- Proficient debugging, optimization and problem-solving skills with power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes.
- Basic understanding of analog/digital circuits.
- Familiarity with OrCAD/Allegro and other EE hardware design programs.
- We are looking for an experienced electrical technician with excellent hand soldering skills with the ability to work with fine pitch and small package components.
- Excellent computer skills and familiarity with PC Microsoft Office, MS DOS, database applications.
- Experience with ADB/Python scripting, ability to debug scripts.
- Past prototype or assembly line experience, particularly in small electronics or devices.
- Passion, diligence, integrity, and exceptional aptitude.
