Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year

We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Project Manager to join our innovative Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing various electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to our high standards of quality. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, including voltage, circuit, power, and metering, as well as proficiency in project management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Systems and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of the electrical project life cycle from conception to completion.
2. Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards and building regulations.
3. Develop detailed project plans, including budget, timeline, and resources.
4. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and installation, to ensure project success.
5. Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
7. Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
8. Conduct system testing to ensure project specifications are met.
Power Systems Duties:
1. Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data of low, medium and high voltage (to 500kV) electrical systems.
2. MCC’s, Breakers and moderately complex relay calibration and power metering.
3. Test and calibrate electro-mechanical and solid-state relay.
4. Low, Medium and High voltage switchgear and circuit breaker testing.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field/experience.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role within the engineering industry.
3. NETA Testing experience required.
4. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including voltage, circuit, power, and metering.
5. Proven experience with Power Systems.
6. Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
7. Proficiency in project management software.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
