Position Overview
The Electrician Lead/Project Manager will oversee electrical installations and repairs in various construction and remodeling projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and codes.
- Provide training and guidance to junior electricians, promoting skill development and safety awareness.
- Plan and execute electrical wiring and circuitry projects in residential and commercial settings.
- Manage inventory of electrical materials and tools needed for projects.
- Stay updated on industry standards and regulations regarding electrical work.
- Valid electrician license and certification.
- Proven experience as an electrician, with a minimum of 5 years in the field.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and voltage management.
- Familiarity with construction and remodeling processes.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
