Electrical Project Manager El Mirage/Waddell, AZ
GavinHeath is partnering with a client in El Mirage/Waddell, AZ looking to add an Electrical Project Manager to their team. The role is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for travel and relocation flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver mission-critical electrical projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Supervise teams, including subcontractors, electricians, and technicians, to meet project milestones.
- Manage procurement processes, vendor relationships, and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, codes, and regulations while monitoring project progress.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, safety, and quality assurance teams to define scope and expectations.
- Document project status, prepare progress reports, and implement processes for project closure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 3 5+ years of project management experience in electrical contracting, with a focus on mission-critical data centers.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Procore, Primavera, or similar project management tools.
- Experience with high-voltage (megawatt-level) systems and risk mitigation planning.
- PMP certification or equivalent (highly preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Ability to handle tight deadlines, changing scopes, and multi-site project coordination.
