Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electrical Project Manager position. This position may be either a contract to direct hire or potentially a direct from start hire. It is an on-site position, which is located in the Orlando, FL/Central Florida area.

Job Description:
- Project Management of Special Projects Portfolio
- Provide the planning, execution, and delivery of the Special Projects portfolio, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budgets.
- Ensure all team members for the project have access to the required software and tools, and adequate proficiency suitable for the project.
- Project Estimating & Planning: Develop project estimates, budgets, project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Support customer questions, site walk-downs, technical questions, or other estimating & planning tasks needing project management support.
- Resource Management: Allocating resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively to ensure timely project completion. Ensure labor, material, tools, and equipment needs are met for each project.
- Manage budgets, and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints. Forecast costs, and control expenses to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with labor supervisor and other stakeholders & contributors within the company to develop project plans, resource allocation strategies, and risk management plans.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as necessary to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Quality Control: Monitor work quality to ensure it meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Compliance: Ensure special projects are conducted in compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Accounts Receivable Management - generate invoices, follow up on overdue payments, send statements to clients with past-due invoices, maintain good client relationships to ensure payments are made on schedule, and support company reporting requirements for AR.
- Establish KPIs for the Special Projects portfolio, use leading indicators to extent possible (to be developed), and share KPI's with management staff and other operational leaders.
- Use metrics & feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement & best practice sharing.
- Conducting post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned, areas for improvement, and best practices. Support company efforts to incorporate lessons learned and best practices in other projects.

- Bluebeam: 1 year (Preferred)
- High School Diploma
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
