We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Project Foreman to join our team. This is a permanent position in the construction industry where you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of electricians on various construction projects. You will be the primary point of contact for all electrical-related activities and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects. Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of a team of electricians and other construction workers.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including determining labor requirements, material needs, and timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise during the construction process.
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, safety incidents, and change orders.
- Continually assess project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Foreman or in a similar leadership role in the electrical construction industry.
- Proven expertise in electrical systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to team members, project managers, and other construction professionals.
- A strong understanding of construction codes and regulations.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A valid electrician's license is required, and additional certification may be beneficial.
