SUMMARY:
The Electrical Project Engineer/Senior Electrical Designer is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. This role includes preparing detailed electrical designs, conducting system analysis, coordinating with other engineering teams, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing project timelines and budgets. The individual will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, providing technical support, and ensuring that all designs meet regulatory and industry standards.

The individual will also be responsible for troubleshooting electrical systems, providing technical support, and ensuring that all designs meet regulatory and industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All facets of electrical design implementation of the following: lighting, lighting controls, normal power systems, standby/emergency power systems, one-line/riser diagrams, arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, utility coordination, equipment selection and specifications, comprehensive electrical system design and layout, field investigation and observation, and construction administration.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, E.I.T./P.E. Registration (preferred).
- 6+ years of project experience (10+ years for non-degreed).
- Demonstrated technical expertise for all major electrical systems, industry-related codes, standards, and guidelines.
- Active participation in industry related organizations for technical and professional development.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word – Excel - Outlook), SKM (or EasyPower), Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
