A highly regarded client of ours is actively seeking an Electrical Project Engineer for their portfolio of commercial and light industrial projects. Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Project Engineer, your role will encompass a range of pivotal responsibilities, including:
- Assessing the project scope by examining bid documents and participating in pre-bid meetings.
- Conducting precise takeoffs and quantifying estimates.
- Soliciting quotes from subcontractors and vendors as necessary.
- Determining the most suitable vendors and subcontractors for project requirements.
- Developing comprehensive project schedules for each undertaking.
- Active participation in project meetings throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cultivating and nurturing strong working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Demonstrating a dedicated commitment to safety and unwavering dedication to quality.
- Maintaining effective communication with team members and trade partners.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Project Engineer position should meet the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the field with a proven track record.
- Prior hands-on experience in the electrical field.
- Proficiency with software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as estimating software like Accubid, Bluebeam, Conest, or McCormick.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- A team player with a positive outlook and a self-driven nature.
- Sound knowledge of construction practices and methods.
