Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Detailing: Develop control and electrical schemes for material handling systems, including panel layouts and schematics.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to turn concepts into reality by preparing detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
- Field Support: Participate in the installation and troubleshooting of systems at customer facilities, with up to 25% travel (including extra PTO for weekend work).
- Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in R&D and process enhancement initiatives to keep systems at the forefront of the industry.
- Education: Bachelors in Electrical Engineering OR Associate's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience (programming and designing electrical systems).
- Experience: Exposure to AutoCAD Electrical and Allen Bradley or Siemens PLCs. New grads with hands-on experience are welcome!
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a customer-facing personality.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25% for customer installs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems like NetSuite
- Experience with material handling equipment
- Panel building experience
- PLC, RFID, and proximity switch knowledge
