About the Job
We are hiring a Diagnostics Engineer II to support our client’s combat vehicle programs by evaluating design changes and modifications for diagnostics implications and recommending improvements where feasible. In this role, you will work closely with lead diagnostics engineers and design engineers on several key programs, including the Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV), Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV), and Recovery Vehicle (M88).
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with engineers and leadership to assess and improve designs, ensuring they meet product requirements and customer needs.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and tasks.
- Provide planning and execution support through all phases of the program, from concept to fielding.
- Use physical, hands-on prototypes to provide rapid feedback to the design team.
- Contribute to team direction and strategy, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Focus on continuous learning, particularly in domain skills and model-based digital engineering techniques.
- Work across functional teams to develop diagnostics and testability designs using model-based methods for complex weapons systems.
- Support development of troubleshooting strategies, testing, and analysis methods in fast-paced environments.
- Analyze designs to detect and isolate faults in systems and equipment.
- Assist with verification and validation activities of diagnostic tests during fabrication, assembly, and system testing.
- Prepare and present technical materials for senior management and internal/external customers.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and technologies within applicable engineering disciplines.
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with teams to solve technical challenges.
- Entry-level knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures, including electrical circuit design.
- Experience with technical design and development of electrical and mechanical systems.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Ability to create clear technical presentations and brief leadership and customers effectively.
- Experience in writing technical reports that identify and resolve complex issues.
- Review and evaluation of electrical circuit diagrams.
- Experience analyzing system and subsystem designs for diagnostic deficiencies and recommending corrective actions.
- Developing strategies, testing, and analysis methods for resolving complex problems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical/electronic and computer assemblies at both subsystem and system levels.
- Experience with diagnostic analyses, including modeling, test logic, and failure analysis.
- Familiarity with model-based analysis tools like eXpress or Cameo.
Required Education
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, or Software Engineering).

Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.75 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
