This position has a schedule of Monday night through Saturday morning 11:00pm to 7:00am - 3rd Shift.
SynCot Plastics, a Vinmar Company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team in Belmont, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure continuous operation of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting electrical problems, conducting repairs, and implementing upgrades to existing systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring, controls, and safety protocols along with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics. Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and upgrades of electrical components as necessary.
- Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and production teams to address electrical concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Assist in the training of junior maintenance staff as needed.
- Participate in electrical safety audits and inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical maintenance or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when necessary, including overtime.
