Position Overview
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and automation systems to support production efficiency and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Maintain and repair PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces)
- Conduct preventive maintenance in compliance with safety and industry standards
- Assist with the implementation of automation projects and improvements
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to support lean initiatives and optimize production processes
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and automation
- Experience with PLCs and HMIs is required
- Familiarity with pneumatics and controls is a plus
