PROJECT OVERIEW

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is advancing Phase III of the St. Elizabeths Campus program, a $500M project to construct the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Headquarters. This state-of-the-art, 630,000 SF facility follows the Coast Guard Headquarters and will precede the ICE Headquarters.

As a historic site with unique environmental challenges, this program demands precision and excellence. AECOM, as the construction agent, supports GSA in collaboration with Clark Construction to deliver:

Two new buildings (300,000 SF)
A parking structure (346,500 SF with 990 spaces)
Extensive site infrastructure, including utilities, IT, and stormwater systems

POSITION OVERIEW

We are seeking an Electrical Inspector to provide oversight and expertise for this high-profile federal construction project. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in federal construction, historic renovations, and new construction, with a focus on electrical system installations

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspect and oversee electrical system installations to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and federal guidelines (including P100 standards).
Conduct material take-offs and verify adherence to project requirements.
Perform design and specification reviews to identify and address potential issues.
Ensure code compliance and maintain quality control throughout the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications
- o Experience: 7 years of federal construction experience on projects over $50M, including historic renovations and new construction.
- o Communication: Must have strong English communication skills (spoken and written).
- o Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for HSPD-12 clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- o Certifications: CQM and OSHA-10 are preferred.
- o Experience: Familiarity with GSA and DoD projects.
- o Knowledge of federal code compliance and P100 guidelines.
