If you are an Electrical Hardware Engineer professional looking to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will join a global engineering and development team, designing and developing online and portable devices, for industrial process applications, including the following:
- Vibration / spectral data acquisition, filtering, monitoring, and analysis
- Pervasive industrial sensing
- Wired and wireless data communications between devices and systems, including the use of radios and associated protocols
- Field instrumentation configuration, calibration, and troubleshooting
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support new product development
- Specification and Concept Design
- Architecture and Detailed Design
- Implementation and Verification
- Provide technical support to other cross-functional teams like user documentation, Product Support through the complete product lifecycle
- Continuation engineering for existing products supporting both design and component issues
- Evaluate & select new technologies and tools for to use in the development and maintenance of our products
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Zero (0) - Two (2) or more years of experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- An ABET accredited engineering degree
- Knowledgeable in microcontroller-based board level design, schematic entry, printed circuit board design and layout, and prototype verification and testing.
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools
- Analog to digital conversion, low noise signal conditioning and/or digital signal processing
- Proven ability to solve technical problems
- Proven ability to meet project schedules
