Electrical Foreman/Journeyman Electrician - Capitol Valley Electric

We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Foreman to run projects in and around the Stockton/Merced area.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to interpret specifications and read blueprints.
• Assist in lay out of work for crew.
• Preplan daily activities and ensure crew productivity to meet job schedule.
• Order and coordinate delivery of necessary materials.
• Comply with all documentation requirements and fill out all project related reports, such as: Daily Reports, Safety Reports, Inspection Reports, 2 & 3 week look ahead schedules
• Audit safe work practices, ensuring PPE is available and used properly.
• Assist superintendent in training and appraising work performance
• Conduct regular performance reviews of crew

Qualifications

• Valid CA General Electrician License (preferred)
• Valid CA Driver License
• 3-5 years' experience in electrical sub-contractor supervision
• 5-8 years of experience in commercial electrical work
• OSHA 30
• Experience working on commercial and mixed-use buildings
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have moderate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and use of hands and arms to operate equipment. Must have a strong sense of balance and no fear of heights. Must be able to lift and move up to 75 lbs
