Job Title: Electrical Foreman, Industrial (Traveling)
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced MEP Technical Coordinator to join our team on long-term projects spanning several years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work, particularly in mission-critical settings such as data centers, oil and gas facilities, nuclear plants, or large hospitals. Proficiency in Procore and experience with Switchgear, UPS, and ATS are essential.
Salary: $115,000-$125,000
Location: Live near major airport - Travel to places such as Virginia, Dallas, Las Vegas, Milwaukee, Phoenix, and Washington State
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of electrical equipment at construction sites, ensuring compliance with startup and commissioning requirements.
- Utilize knowledge of Switchgear, UPS, and ATS to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning phases.
- Review contract documents, including drawings, submittals, equipment lists, and commissioning compliance documents to ensure they meet the design basis.
- Facilitate strong communication between field staff, other stakeholders, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Verify systems meet project requirements through rigorous quality assurance processes, including installation methods and means.
- Conduct hands-on inspections and maintenance activities on site, ensuring operational activities comply with safety precautions and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining technical libraries and record-keeping to document all procedures necessary for assigned responsibilities.
- Work effectively with the team to address action items, project schedules, and department communications activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician in mission-critical settings such as data centers, oil and gas facilities, nuclear plants, or large hospitals.
- Journeyman Electrician.
- Strong understanding of the functionality of Switchgear, UPS, and ATS.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Procore.
- Experience with startup and commissioning requirements for electrical systems.
- Effective communication skills for team and customer interactions.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel 3 weeks on job sites and work from home for 1 week, with projects in areas such as Virginia, Phoenix, Dallas, Milwaukee, Las Vegas, and Washington State. Must be able to live near a major airport.
- Knowledge of and compliance with all safety policies, regulations, OSHA, and NFPA requirements.
