Your New Role: Senior Electrical Estimator
Are you tired of mundane estimating jobs that feel more like a numbers game than a critical role in project success? As a Senior Electrical Estimator at Petri Electric, you’ll prepare detailed and conceptual project estimates using ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software. You’ll be the go-to expert for electrical takeoffs and project specification analysis. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders will ensure your estimations are not just accurate but pivotal in guiding project development.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and conceptual project estimates using ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software.
- Conduct electrical takeoffs and analyze project specifications, drawings, and early project concepts.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive project estimations.
- Maintain and manage digital and electronic records of all estimates and project documents.
- Provide early-stage cost assessments to help guide project development.

- Proven experience as an electrical estimator with both detailed and conceptual estimation skills is highly valued.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in electrical estimation.
- Strong proficiency in ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software. Consideration for training in ConEst for applicants proficient in other similar estimating program(s).
- Ability to acquire and maintain an electrical license as a condition of employment.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, empathy, active listening skills, and a strong interpersonal skill set.
- Authorized to work in the US.
