Electrical Estimator - Amazing Staffing Consultant

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Prepare cost estimates for various projects, including conceptual, design-build, and general tender work.

Independently calculate materials, labor, and equipment costs based on proposals, plans, and specifications, including project closings.

Review data to determine material and labor requirements, creating detailed itemized lists.

Draft requests for quotations to secure competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.

Utilize estimating software (e.g., Accubid Classic or Anywhere) for precise cost calculations.

Collaborate with the Estimating Manager to establish indirect costs and overheads for each estimate.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM:

A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, equivalent trade experience, and 3-5 years of electrical estimating experience in the electrical contracting industry.

Experience in developing electrical service quotes/estimates in a similar role.

Knowledge of electrical sub-trades scope of work.

Solid understanding of electrical drawings and the ability to interpret schematics and P IDs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel); knowledge of Accubid Estimating Software.
