We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across a range of sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in our projects, providing accurate cost estimates to ensure we deliver on budget and on time. This role will require a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of the construction process, and a strong ability to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost of a project.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
- Identify potential cost risks and provide solutions to mitigate them.
- Participate in bid presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimation documentation, including updates and adjustments made during the project lifecycle.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continually improve estimation accuracy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical estimating within the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficient in electrical estimating software and tools.
