Summary:
The Electrical Engineering Design Lead will have the chance to work on electrical projects for commercial and industrial facilities including pharmaceutical, electronics, data centers, and other advanced facilities and support buildings. Systems include medium and low voltage power distribution, motor controls, lightning protection, lighting, grounding and fire alarm systems.

Summary:
The Electrical Engineering Design Lead will have the chance to work on electrical projects for commercial and industrial facilities including pharmaceutical, electronics, data centers, and other advanced facilities and support buildings. Systems include medium and low voltage power distribution, motor controls, lightning protection, lighting, grounding and fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities:
- Engineering calculations, conceptual design, code compliance, construction cost estimating support, equipment specifications and preparation of electrical construction packages.
- Oversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process.
- Interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
- Work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15 years of experience in electrical engineering design of manufacturing buildings/facilities within North America.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members. This is a Lead role that will manage a team.
- Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Ability to perform power system studies including short circuit, load flow, protective coordination, and arc flash preferred
- Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Life Science and/or advanced manufacturing facility electrical design experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited program is preferred, not required.
- Professional Engineer license is preferred, not required
