About the Job
A multi-disciplinary, award-winning MEP Engineering client of ours is currently hiring for highly creative Senior-Level Electrical Engineer/Department Head to join their growing team. This firm works on large-scale, challenging projects including Healthcare Facilities, Airports, Research Laboratories, Petrochemical Labs, Higher Education, Government, Municipal, K-12 and Commissioning Projects.
The Electrical Engineer will work with an experienced group of designers to prepare building electrical plans and specifications.
Electrical Engineer Responsibilities
- Detailed design, modeling and analysis of normal and emergency power distribution systems.
- Design life safety systems
- Design and model lighting and associated control systems
- Coordinate with the Plumbing, Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and Telecommunication/Audio Visual discipline’s design
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Act as leader in the department and will supervise staff's day-to-day responsibilities.
- Mentor staff in both technical knowledge and career development.
- Lead projects in all facets by interfacing with clients, providing technical excellence and managing the project team and schedule to achieve successful project outcome.
Electrical Engineer Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university;
- PE License is a MUST
- 5+ years of experience;
- Demonstrated success in managing projects
