We're a leader in ultra-precision machining solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the specification, design, and validation of advanced ultra-precision diamond turning machines. This role combines technical expertise in electrical engineering with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a critical role in driving product innovation, ensuring performance excellence, and meeting customer needs in precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptualization and development of cutting-edge electrical systems for ultra-precision machining equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Machine Safety, EMC, and Low Voltage directives.
• Create and validate panel layouts, schematics, PCB designs, and wire run lists using CAD software.
• Conduct product design reviews and work with marketing, application engineering, manufacturing, and service teams to deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure seamless collaboration across departments to achieve project objectives.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, such as noise, transients, and servo system problems.
• Troubleshoot multi-axis controllers (e.g., PMAC) and other sophisticated electronic equipment.
• Develop clear and comprehensive user manuals and technical documentation for end-users and field technicians.
• Ensure that all systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years in Electrical Engineering, focusing on machine control systems and precision manufacturing environments.
• Advanced knowledge of data acquisition, analog/digital signal processing, and control systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or similar.
• Experience with servo systems, multi-axis controllers, and high-precision electronic equipment.
