- The Electrical Engineer will be instrumental in designing, developing, and improving our range of magnetic components. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a commitment to quality. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards and our customers' evolving needs.
- Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
Required:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, with a focus on magnetic components.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
