Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer licensure for SC, NC, GA, or ability to get reprocosity
- 7+ years in electrical engineering with a focus on building systems
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or other electrical design software
- Strong knowledge of NEC
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Create detailed electrical designs for building systems, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Manage electrical engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Work closely with architects, other engineers, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into overall building designs.
- Conduct site visits as needed to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Ensure all designs comply with national and local building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide regular updates on project status.
