Position Overview:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to complete electrical construction plans and specifications for a variety of building types and facilities, with oversight from a Senior Electrical Engineer. Your work will encompass lighting, power, and low-voltage systems, with a strong focus on compliance with building codes and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
You will also perform electrical calculations for loads, short circuits, and breaker studies to produce high-quality deliverables for clients. The role requires a collaborative mindset, as you’ll work closely with team members across various disciplines to ensure project success.

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- 3+ years of post-graduation experience in electrical system design for buildings (preferred).
- EIT or PE certification (preferred).
- Experience in consulting engineering (strongly preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Solid knowledge of updated building codes and NEC requirements.
- Experience with microgrids and prime power generation is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Interest or experience in green engineering principles; LEED AP certification is a definite asset.
