Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and test electrical systems and equipment, including power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial applications.
- Utilize Revit for electrical design and documentation, ensuring designs meet all relevant safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers and architects to integrate electrical systems into overall building design.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for proposed projects.
- Supervise the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare and present technical reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, advancements, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the commercial sector.
- Proficiency in Revit and other electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and applications.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to electrical engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
