Electrical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Immediate opening for an experienced Electrical Engineer in the Bay Area.

Position Summary:
An Electrical Engineer capable of leading a group of Designers and Drafters as a subject matter exporter in Design/Build Commercial Electrical Construction Design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review project criteria and requirements
• Perform complete construction documents, including drawings and specifications
• Coordination and collaboration with trade partners and team members.
• Direct and review design through the plan check and construction phases.
• Technical resource to team members.
• Electrical design including but not limited to power distribution, branch power, branch lighting, lighting controls (commercial construction).
• Perform engineering calculations
• Prepare Title 24 compliance forms.
• Responsibly to meet applicable codes and customer requirements.
• Responsible for design coordination with the project manager so that design documents meet project scope requirements.
• Attend meetings - architect, MEP, GC, project manager, and owner’s SME coordination.
• Coordinate with BIM department.

Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Working experience with California codes and standards preferred.
• FE/PE preferred.
• Proficient use of Autodesk Revit and CAD.
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Pay:  $66-$96/hr.
Location:  Santa Clara, CA
Duration:  Temp-to-hire
