We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Electrical Engineer will be a vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our electrical systems. This role involves a mix of hands-on work and strategic planning, providing an exciting and varied workday. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with a focus on facilities and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial, industrial, or scientific use.
2. Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
3. Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, or installation standards and specifications.
4. Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
5. Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
6. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.
7. Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
8. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
9. Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
10. Supervise and train project team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Solid knowledge of electrical, engineering, facilities, and maintenance.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
