Job Title: Electrical Engineer or Designer

Location: Roseville, CA

Compensation: $90k-$140,000+ annually (depending on experience), plus full benefits and performance bonuses

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer or Designer to join the engineering consulting team in Roseville. This role focuses on commercial projects, particularly in the education sector, including K-12 schools, colleges, and other institutional facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical design, engineering, and project management, with a proactive approach to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for commercial projects, with a focus on schools and similar facilities.
• Create and review electrical drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration and project success.
• Perform calculations for electrical loads, lighting, and power distribution.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits for surveys, inspections, and construction support.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Manage project timelines and budgets to deliver high-quality results.
• Maintain communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in electrical design.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial project design, preferably with schools or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical calculation tools.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, Title 24, and other relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• PE license (preferred but not required).
