Position Overview: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer, with experience in Radio Frequency, to support research at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute experiments to test and evaluate electrical systems and components.
- Collaborate with team members to create detailed test plans and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) under tight deadlines.
- Design and establish experimental workflows and schedules.
- Oversee the maintenance and management of laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Engage in the installation and training activities for RF sources.
- Analyze experimental data and provide estimates of field strength.
- Ensure high-quality standards for experimental procedures and data collection.
- Comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, as well as draft reports that summarize research findings and progress.
Qualifications/Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 4 years of relevant experience OR
- Master's Degree and 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance
- Ability to design, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, including analog and digital systems.
- Experience with control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, and feedback control mechanisms.
- Familiarity in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators and RF sensing equipment.
- Knowledge of RF source pulsars (such as NLTL, DSRDs, magnetrons, AWGs, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with anechoic chambers and/or GTEM cells.
- Experienced in managing and analyzing large data sets, with experience in MATLAB preferred.
