Description
Perform assignments requiring the application of engineering knowledge in such activities as planning, design, research, development, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, project management and operation at assigned location.

Key Responsibilities
Provide recommendations for the repair and/or replacement of critical components to reduce plant EFOR, improve availability and maintain environmental compliance.
Perform engineering studies, projects and assignments of general scope and/or specifically assigned duties relative to carrying out the functions of the department.
Assist in the preparation, analysis and interpretation of engineering and technical data, information and statistical reports as assigned.
Conduct special studies, analyses and investigations; record information and prepare graphic and interpretative illustrations.
Assist in the performance of various tests and inspections of instrumentation and equipment and determine and recommend methods of correction.
Maintain departmental records and prepare statements and reports relating to operating activities; analyze and interpret such records and reports as directed.
Assist in planning, developing, and carrying out various company departmental programs and special projects.
As directed, make studies of departmental organization, its functions and relationships, both internally and externally.
Investigate causes of complaint and assist when necessary.
Keep informed of the latest practices and procedures in the field of engineering to which assigned.
Perform duties in accordance with all applicable federal and state safety laws and regulations, and all applicable company safety rules and operating procedures; when supervising others, assure that safe work practices are followed and conduct safety meetings; make suggestions for the improvement of the safety program and encourage others to do so.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering.
General understanding of EHV systems.
