Introduction

Visium Resources has been asked to identify qualified candidates for this Electrical - Power Distribution - Engineer with PE position.

This position is a contract OR direct hire opportunity, with a very busy industrial engineering firm. The work must be on-site in beautiful Lakeland, FL

Summary

This position could be a full-time hire, or contract-to-hire (to expedite onboarding) as preferred by the candidate.

Open to relocation from other states, and if FL P.E. is not current, will consider reciprocal license from other states, as long as the paperwork can be expedited.

EIT license would be considered, if intent is to obtain P.E. in near future

P.E. license in FL is highly preferred, but other states will be considered.

Qualified candidates would have the following:

- Strong heavy industrial design experience - Electrical Engineering - Power Distribution / Controls

Main emphasis is power distribution

Sizing motors
Substations

- Ability to work on-site in the Lakeland, FL area (very limited remote work allowed)

- Occasional field inspections and construction reviews required
