Compensation: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

This company is looking for an Electrical Engineer who will enhance control systems and support equipment installation, troubleshooting, and automation improvements. This role reports to the Technical Director and offers opportunities for growth within a stable and innovative organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams and clients to establish requirements and solutions for control systems.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, and ongoing operational needs.
• Troubleshoot issues in process control and automation systems.
• Stay informed on advancements in industrial automation to improve equipment and system performance.
• Develop and evolve PLC/PC-based control systems and related digital solutions.
• Act as a technical resource for both customers and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering required; Master’s degree or dual degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Experience: 2–10 years of relevant experience, particularly with process control and automation.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in C++, Rockwell Automation, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., UL, NEC, NFPA, CSA, IEC) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN, SAP, SQL, Rockwell Automation Studio 5000, and Microsoft Teams.
• Additional Requirements:
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
