Summary of Responsibilities 

• You will design all electrical aspects of facility/building systems (power, lighting, telecommunications, etc.) for buildings such as schools, colleges, medical and healthcare facilities, institutional facilities, office buildings, commercial and retail spaces, foodservice, and hospitality industry, etc.
• You will be responsible for the management and supervision of electrical technicians to complete projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner
• You will be responsible for feasibility studies, actual design, developing/construction documents, and following projects through construction, start-up and beyond
• You must coordinate with other engineers to produce synergistic solutions 
• You may lead client meetings and resolve customer and management issues related to projects
• You will manage technical challenges, and be responsible for business development and project proposals, technical reports, and project budgets
• Additional responsibilities may include managing all aspects of Electrical Engineering (Power, Lighting, IT/Telecomm Systems, Special Systems, etc...) in a project

Requirements 

• You have a Professional Registration (PE) 
• You possess a Bachelor's or above degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of Building Power, Lighting & Telecommunications systems
• You are proficient in technical writing
