Electrical Engineer-Mid Level - Gray AE, PSC

Gray AE is actively seeking a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team in our Atlanta, GA office!

Who we want… (Requirements)

Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered professional engineering license is desired, but not required.

Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.  Also, utilize programs for calculating loads and performing cost analysis.  Additionally, working knowledge of Revit is preferred.

What we expect… (Essential Functions)

• Researches, analyzes and calculates data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Participates in estimating process for customer design proposal.
• Analyzes subcontractor proposals to confirm criteria is being satisfied.
• Reviews construction documents from subcontractors to confirm complies with scope.
• Reviews construction installed by subcontractors to confirm complies with scope.
• Reviews and updates engineering design standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Generally, normal office environment where noise level is moderate and temperature/humidity is controlled.   Overtime may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has supervisory responsibilities of drafting by on-site and contract ACAD drafters, and of administrative assistants for work generated by this individual.
