Job Overview:
Join the Parker Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division as an Electrical Engineer and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to advancing aerospace technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support electrical systems, data acquisition, hydraulics, and testing initiatives in our R&D Test Lab. Collaborate closely with experienced engineers to enhance lab capabilities, conduct critical development and certification testing, and contribute to innovative aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the R&D Lab team by taking direction from senior engineers on active projects.
Design pressure, flow, and spray test stands and upgrades, focusing on improved automation using control valves and pressure & flow sensors.
Train coworkers on electronics applications to enhance team capabilities and knowledge.
Develop and improve test stand control hardware and safety circuitry to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist in upgrading hydraulic test stands, focusing on control valves, pumps, and automation systems.
Assist calibration efforts for lab and production test stands to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Participate actively in a High-Performance Team environment, contributing to various functions as needed.
Present project plans, data, and results to the team, generating detailed reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
Support fellow engineers with projects and tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to a zero-incident culture.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
Hands-On Skills: Strong experience in electrical systems design, soldering/wiring, and troubleshooting.
Communication: Excellent skills for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, along with precise scientific documentation abilities.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally to Parker facilities, local universities, and suppliers.
