Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical devices and equipment, including communications systems, power generators, motors and navigation systems, and electrical systems for automobiles and aircraft.
• Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment such as centralized heat, gas, water, and steam systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering team members to ensure projects are completed to specifications, on time, and within budget.
• Conduct research to test and analyze the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.
• Innovate and implement cost-reduction initiatives in all aspects of electrical design and construction projects.
• Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, or topographical maps.
• Prepare specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with the project budget and timelines.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical engineering or in a related area.
• Familiarity with design, analysis, and construction of electrical systems and components.
• Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and electrical engineering codes and standards.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Proficiency in using design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar.
