Position Overview: X-Bow Systems is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in new industrial construction projects to join our team in Luling, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing electrical systems within the under construction Luling, TX campus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of electrical design for industrial construction projects.
- Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design for electrical building services and power distribution systems, including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications and other documents required.
- Conduct site visits and oversee system installations.
- Review contractor submittals and shop drawings.
- Participate in internal and external facing meetings and presentations.
- Ensure that all electrical engineering projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Prepare and present technical reports, feasibility studies, and project proposals.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design and construction issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on new industrial construction/architecture.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or similar.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
