Electrical Engineer at Gables Search Group

The Electrical Engineer designs, develops, and maintains the electrical and automation controls systems of the manufacturingfacility.Thisincludesassessingthemanufacturingprocessforneworimprovedelectricalequipment, programing machine controls, using design software, and managing the installation of equipment.

·Responsiblefortheintegrityoftheplantelectricaldistributionsystem.

·CoordinatewiththeMaintenanceDepartmentandoutsidevendorsforthepreventiveandpredictive maintenance of the plant electrical distribution system.

·Overseeallchangestotheplantelectricaldistributionsystem

·Design,develop,andsuperviseallaspectsofautomatedcontrolsystemsassociated withtheplantsequipment and machinery

·Analyzeexistingequipmentandprocessesforimprovementsandproviderecommendationsbasedupon assessments.

·ResponsiblefortheinstallationandtechnicalsupportofPLCbasedhardwareandsoftware.

·SupportbothProductionandMaintenanceDepartmentsbytroubleshootingissueswithhardwareand processes.

·ProvideoperatorinterfaceofmachinesthroughprogrammingofPLC’sandoperatorterminals

·SupporttheMaintenanceDepartmentwithACandDCdrivestroubleshooting,set-up,andreplacement

·AidotherEngineers,adaptingapplicationsandinstrumentationforprocessdevelopment,toincludeequipment installation and existing equipment upgrades.

·Direct,coordinate,andconsultwithothercompanyemployeesandoutsidecontractorsconcerninginstallations and maintenance projects.

·Provideengineeringassistancepertainingtoelectricaltheoryanddesign

·Manageprojectsasassigned,toinclude,costestimation,requestingquotes,purchasing,installation,and qualification of equipment and processes

·Providetechnicalmanualsandtrainingforelectricians,operators,andtrainingpersonnelattheconclusionof machine installations or upgrade projects

·Maintainsafeworkingconditionsinallprojectareas

·Conductfoodsafetyanddefenseself-inspectionsandreportdeficiencies

EDUCATION/SPECIALSKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

·Education/WorkExperience:Bachelor’sDegreeinEngineeringoranotherrelatedfield.Minimumof3-5yearsof experienceworkinginamanufacturingfacility.Abilityto designelectricalequipmentorsystems.Abilitytowork with a team to prepare designed or operational plans.Ability to usea hands-onapproachto findinganswersto problems.

·LanguageAbility:Musthaveexcellentcommunicationskills

·MathAbility:Proficientmathematicalskills

·Reasoning Ability: Must be able to understand and create electrical schematics. Familiarity with common automationhardware.Abilitytouseanalyticalthinkingtoanalyzeinformationanduselogicto addressissues.

·ComputerSkills:MicrosoftOfficeSuiteandRockwellSoftwareStudiorequired.AutoCAD,ACandDCDrive Programing software preferred
